QBeeQ Framework

Product documentation for the QBeeQ Framework

The QBeeQ Framework is the foundation for all QBeeQ plugins in Sisense. It acts as a central hub for managing plugins, tracking licenses, and accessing support, while providing the shared libraries (such as amCharts and toastr) that all QBeeQ plugins depend on.

🛑

Before using any QBeeQ plugins, this framework must be installed and enabled. See Installing QBeeQ Plugins for more information.

📄

Release Notes for QBeeQ Framework can be found here.

Accessing the Framework

The QBeeQ Framework integrates directly into Sisense. Depending on your environment settings, it can be found in the left navigation bar (icon) or the top navigation bar (QBeeQ Framework).

QBeeQ Framework Dashboard

The Framework dashboard lists all installed plugins with key details for tracking status, spotting available updates, and managing licenses in one place.

ℹ️

The Framework page is accessible to users with the Admin or Designer role.

Support Form

The Support Form is accessible directly from the Framework page by all Admin and Designer users. It is the preferred way to contact QBeeQ support, as it automatically includes environment and plugin metadata, reducing back-and-forth during troubleshooting.

Update Notifications

The Framework includes in-product notifications to help keep your environment current. A visual indicator appears next to the Framework tab whenever a newer version of an installed plugin is available.

ℹ️

As of Q2026.03.16, the update indicator is visible to both Admin and Designer role users.

The update check runs automatically on a weekly basis. It can also be triggered manually using the Check for Updates button.

Notifications only appear for plugins with at least one Active license, so you won't see persistent indicators for plugins that are unlicensed or not installed.
