Super Map Polygon Boundaries

This guide walks Sisense Dashboard Designers through using boundary filters on Super Map visualizations to limit polygon visibility to a specific geographic subset, with instructions for adding boundary filters and configuring viewport zoom and center settings.

Polygon boundaries can now be displayed on Super Map visualizations, providing clearer visual separation between geographic regions. Defined borders improve map clarity and make it easier to distinguish adjacent areas, especially when analyzing region-level data on complex or overlapping maps.

This guide is intended for Sisense Dashboard Designers and provides instructions for advanced functionality to use boundary filters to focus the visibility to a subset of polygons, when the intention is to work within a very specific area.

Adding multiple boundary filters

It is possible to add multiple boundary filters on the Super Map. The filters are applied based on a query, so the filter will be applied when the relevant layer is selected.

â„šī¸

There are no limitations on the number of boundary filters that can be added. It is recommended to only apply one filter to avoid conflicts.
