Pie of Pie
Present layered insights with clarity using the Pie of Pie, a dynamic visualization that breaks down complex categories into digestible parts. This chart splits a standard pie chart to highlight smaller or grouped segments in a secondary “exploded” pie, revealing hidden trends that traditional charts miss.
Installation and configuration
The Pie of Pie plugin can be installed by an Admin, following the directions in Installing QBeeQ Plugins.
Operating system and version support:

Creating a Pie of Pie chart
To create a new Pie of Pie:
- Choose QBeeQ Pie of Pie from the widget dropdown list
- Select the data for the main and secondary pie
- Configure chart settings
Select data
Requirement | Description |
Main Pie Category | The primary dimension used to group data (e.g., Region, Product Category) |
Main Values | Numerical metric for each main category (e.g., Sales, Revenue, Count) |
Secondary Pie Category | The drill-down dimension (e.g., Product, Subregion) that expands on the selected slice |
Secondary Values | Metric for the secondary breakdown (e.g., Sales, Units Sold) |
